Thrive’s mission is to reconnect people with food, their bodies and the earth. We achieve this through education in nutrition, cooking, food sourcing, time management and sustainable household practices, from field to table and beyond.
So much of our food is prepared for us. We hand over those essential steps from field to table; where so many nutrients and flavour can be lost, to an unknown factory or industrialized process. This is my mission, to see as many people as I can share in the joy of growing, cooking, sharing and eating food essentially: thriving! Thrive Food coaching facilitates a practical and sustained improvement in people’s lifestyle choices. We work with clients in learning how to live a life that nurtures you and allows your body to thrive. From someone who is a ‘foodie’ to someone who only knows how to microwave instant noodles, there is always more to learn. |

Fermented foodThrough modern, fast-paced living, and because of the increasing availability of highly processed pre-packaged foods, much of the art and enjoyment of food preparation has been lost. The microbes improve the bio-availability of nutrients and the digestibility of the foods we eat. (workshop duration is 2 to 4 hours)
